Never Forget

Both my daughters have journals - they are a great keepsake for pictures, certificates, tickets etc, as well as an opportunity to write and draw.
But I found this week some other interesting ways of keeping memories, that I thought I would share.

A fab way of recording thoughts and feelings.

In this memory jar, each person jots down on a piece of paper their thoughts, feelings and special moments as they happen, and these are collected over a year. At the end of the year, the jar is opened and everyone gets to hear and remember all those special occassions.

  1. I am in love with journalling and these two ideas are beautiful, I especially love the idea of a memory jar, not least because I have an appalling memory. I think we will try it. thankyou x

  2. I've kept a diary since I was 16 (now 21) and its great to look back as you forget what happens in a day sometimes :) I love the memory jar idea, would be good for my Dad especially!

  3. Wonderful thoughts for memory keeping - thanks for sharing these ideas. We have cute jars in our shop, tried encouraging costumers to try making a wish jar etc.
Stationery junkie here, especially potential journals, but as much as i'd love to write oodles of details of the day, I always seem to forget or put off for later. The jar idea is great idea that will cure this i think :D
