For the Nursery

It seems like baby season has started again, with several friends babies due in the next couple of months, and I am going to be an Auntie at the end of the year....so I thought I would share some of my own handmade items perfect for the nursery. They are all available in my Folksy shop.

Owls

This week I listed something new on my Folksy shop - an owl writing set. I love owls - I first bought an owl cushion in Brighton quite a few years ago now, but have never made any owl items to sell....so let me know what you think.

Here are some other fab owls I found online....

Glam up your garden

With the sun making an appearance this weekend, I got to spend a bit of time in the garden. I got my button strings that I made last summer out and on the tree to glam up our seating area...

and thought I would see what other cool ideas for decorating the garden there were. Hope you enjoy what I found.

It's all in the detail

So often time is spent concerning ourselves with how things look - getting the room perfectly decorated for that special occassion or party. It's great fun transforming a room or a garden but the costs can add up, and it can be so time consuming.

Concentrating on the smaller details can work just as well. Adding just a little prettiness or sparkle to a table, such as my new table confetti can keep the costs down, but make it extra special.

So next time you're having that party in the garden or meal with friends sprinkle a little fun on the table.

What sums you up?

I listed these collages on folksy this week and got some great responses to my forum post asking which one sumed people up most....so I thought I would see what you do?

Do you.....

Or do you......

Or perhaps you do both!!!!

I only sing and dance when no-one is around (expect for my kids - who probably wish that I wouldn't!!!)

Would love to hear what you do.

Buttons aren't boring

I remember my mum keeping her buttons in 1970's sma tins when I was little (actually she still does), and now I seem to be following in her footsteps, only I seem to be a little more OCD and have mine colour coordinated in innocent drinks bottles and jam jars!!!!

Although these piccies show I am definately not alone.

But I do use my buttons in my work and make and sell allsorts with them such as this Button Heart Canvas available in my shop on Folksy.

My other button goodies include:
Button Notecards

Flower Wall Art

Button Magnets

So why not pop over to Folksy and check out my shop 100percentdelicate - just click here
